Dateline: December 15, 2007...Gilbert, Arizona
Grant got a scratch on his forehead and it drew blood. That was unfortunate. Even more unfortunate was the fact that Dad was watching him when it happened.
The Christmas Tree was clearly at fault here, though. Grant was standing next to it, and even though he had been well taught not to touch the tree ("not for baby!") he reached out to feel a lush, green, plastic branch and lost his balance. Luckily, he did not get his eye poked, but he did get a gash.
If you think Grant's gash was bad, you should have seen Dad's after Mom found out.
By the way, if you have use for a slightly dented pot, let me know.

It's so sad when they get hurt! Parker has a black eye right now...too bad I was the one watching him instead of Joe!
Yikes! That is a nasty gash. I'm sure Chris felt horrible. I've never seen Adam as distraught as when he's watching Tori and she gets hurt.
Hey Jen and Chris - I am so glad that you have a blog it is really fun to keep in contact. That is really cool that you got the dumpster removed. Way to be involved. Jennie Burke
Scars are cool. Don't stress about it, Chris. By the time he's your age he'll have all kinds of scars. Probably more than you, since he'll have been camping and you still haven't gone... :)
