Grant's "Music" Day

Today Grant, Jen, and Grandma Larinda went to the Perry Library in Gilbert for a musical experience. Jen reports that the hostess was a "dud". She showed no enthusiasm and her rendition of "The Wheels on the Bus" needed a tune-up. We're investigating some classes you can pay for that expose the little anklebiters to music, but then it's so hard to choose Grant's intellectual development over say, a new pair of Nikes.

One interesting note: Jen met another 12 month old named Grant. This was the first youngster we've encountered that shares (or has stolen) Grant's name.

Jen didn't get a chance to bring the camera for a photo-op, so here is Grant posing with "Brown Bear, Brown Bear", which is included to make the reader think we are great parents who read often to our little Hemingway. Truth is, it's just a prop.

I boycott all library sing-alongs and story days because they are LAME. Just spend your money investing in some good children's music or musical dvd's.
